The Columbus Coralina Synchronized Swimming Club welcomes the 2011-2012 season with your swimmer in mind!  CCC is providing several options for girls ages 7 to 19 to explore and participate in the sport of synchronized swimming.  See the information boxes below!

2011-2012 - SynchrOptions!

Competitive team opportunities for all ages and levels of ability with the following age and practice schedule thru May 2012:    

   Ages 10 and unders practice once a week on Tuesdays 5 to 7 p.m. OR Saturdays 4 to 6 p.m.

Ages 11-12's practice twice a week on Tuesdays 5 to 7 p.m. and Saturdays 4 to 6 p.m.

Ages 13 and up practice three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays

Building character, confidence, and commitment through the sport of synchronized swimming - that's CCC!

The Columbus Coralina Synchronized Swimming Club is offering a preparatory synchro program beginning November 5 for swimmers who want to grow their synchro swimming skills, but who aren't quite ready for competition. 

This group will practice once a week for 1 1/2 to 2 hours at one of two locations of your choice: Saturdays at New Albany High School Pool from 4 to 6 p.m. (click here for directions) or Tuesdays at West Central School Pool from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.  (West of Downtown, click here for directions). 

Cost is $100 per month (plus registration fee of $40).  First year club members receive a 10% discount on monthly dues.  

Registration is open now.  The synchro prep program concludes in May 2012.

Stay active this winter and learn synchro!  Basic synchronized swimming skills are taught and fun is had in this four-week winter synchro clinic for swimmers ages 7 to 12.  Swimmers must be able to competently swim a pool length.    

Four, 1-hour Synchronized Swimming Skills Classes for $60 per girl:

*  West Central Pool  (West of Downtown, click here for directions)

*  Tuesdays, 6 to 7 p.m.

*  February 7, 14, 21, and 28

For girls ages 7 to 12.   Swimmers need to competently swim a pool length.   Clinics and the Synchro Prep Program are great ways to explore the sport and determine if a swimmer might like to join the team!

The Coralinas were proud to host a fall "Fundamentals of Synchronized Swimming Clinic" for area Girl Scout troops on Saturday, October 29, at New Albany High School Pool.   Nearly 20 Scouts participated in the clinic and gave the Coralinas high marks for fun and learning.

The Spring Girl Scout clinic is scheduled for:

*  4:30- 6:30pm

Girl Scouts ages second to fifth grade can participate in the Saturday clinic and learn basic synchro skills to create and perform a small routine to music.  As well, scouts will learn more about competition suit and headpiece design, hair and make up techniques, and general nutrition and fitness for the sport of synchro.
